The Landscape and Language of Trauma
How to have difficult conversations about trauma and how to respond

The Bible tells us that stories of trauma can be a means to find the centrality of God in the midst of brokenness and the way forward to recovery. In the aftermath of difficult times in Christchurch sometimes what we need is storytelling as a means of healing.

Our next HeadSpace looks at two topics (come to one or both):

Helping people recover from trauma by recognising and listening to their stories; what heals and what can cause damage in storytelling?
The Church Mental Health Initiative in Christchurch: how to join in; how to become a ‘mental health coach’.
Wednesday 24 July 2019

Location: Cashmere Presbyterian Church, Cnr Dyers Pass Road and Macmillan Ave, Cashmere
