Our next quarterly Christchurch Business Forum breakfast will be held on Friday 9 August with Alanna Chapman from 27 Seconds. The purpose underlying these events is to
- present challenging content and in particular how faith affects our businesses
- encourage each other, and
- make new connections over great food.
Our speaker is Alanna Chapman, who is the co-founder of 27 Seconds, a wine brand that gives 100% of profits to help survivors of slavery. She will share about their journey and the role her faith has played in establishing this business.
Every 27 seconds a vulnerable person is either sold or trafficked into slavery. After coming face to face with modern day slavery, Alanna and her husband, Pete, decided they wanted and needed to do something about this global issue. Alanna will be sharing the journey of 27 Seconds so far and God working with wine in the 21st century.
