Future of the Church: Reimagining the Family of God in this Cultural Moment with Brian Sanders
What if the church of tomorrow looks totally different to what we call church today?
How would it be organized? Where would we gather? What would our worship, mission, and practices look like?
Recent census data have validated what so many in Aotearoa have known for years; the Church in New Zealand is quickly and quietly losing its cultural significance. While Kiwis are increasingly self-identifying as "spiritual" the majority of people in New Zealand no longer associate with a specific brand of church or religious institution.
The good news amongst all this is that the cultural landscape is ripe for innovative, authentic expressions of faith and is primed for spiritual renewal! So what does it look like to be the church in this cultural moment? What do we need to change? Or do we need to change at all?
Join us for an enlightening, challenging and inspiring conversation with missional entrepreneur, Brian Sanders, as we explore the future shape of the church in this rapidly evolving era. God is inviting you and me - the whole body of Christ - to join Him in the infinitely co-creative work of cultivating Earth so it looks like heaven!
Tea & coffee provided.
